Yesterday, Qualcomm China published in its Weibo profile an interview with the CEO of Meizu Technology. It became clear that this position is already held by Huang Zhipan, Huang Zhang‘s younger brother. Earlier this month, the company sent annual letters to its employees, which were also signed by Huang Zhipan. As there is no official announcement from Meizu, it is not known when this move was made.

In the interview, the new CEO summed up what the company has achieved over the past year and recalled Meizu’s 2020 strategy to become a premium brand with a differentiated business for mid-range to high-end mobile phones and development in the AIoT field and smart home.

Meizu 17 marked with a limited series the construction of the first made entirely in China aircraft carrier CV-17.

Throughout the past year, the Meizu 17 series has also found a place in the various AnTuTu rankings – for performance, value for money and user rating. In January this year, Meizu 17 Pro topped Android smartphones according to users, and Meizu 17 ranked 6th.
