Meizu HALO Laser Bluetooth Headset and Meizu Flow 3-Driver Hybrid Earphones won iF DESIGN AWARD 2019

Meizu HALO and Meizu Flow won the annual iF DESIGN AWARD 2019 for their distinctive product design. The prize is awarded annually by the German International Forum.

Meizu HALO Laser Bluetooth in-ear headphones were highly praised for the use of expensive Corning® Fibrance® fiber optics as a luminous material and the original personalized design with a sliding magnet. The laser light technology was developed by the famous German company Osram®. The rhythm of the music is reflected in the light passing through the headphone cable, which makes them a very attractive accessory. In addition, the headphone cable is light and flexible, and provides even 360-degree light.

Meizu Flow 3-Driver hybrid earphones were developed jointly by the company’s senior R&D department and the Acoustics Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Meizu has done additional three-band optimization of the headphones in accordance with the frequency response curve and has added a Bass venting system (BVS). Through a custom channel to extend the response time of the low frequency range and using a dynamic driver with improved space, Meizu Flow produces bass sound as deep as the ocean.

On January 17, 2018. the company also released an improved version of Meizu Flow Bass (along with Meizu Live). The new headphones retain the design of the Meizu Flow, but come with a bass+ system and a slight change in color.
