There has been a lot of speculation lately that the new flagship Meizu 16s, which is expected to be officially announced by the end of this month, will be without the 3.5 mm jack. Another confirmation of this was received today. This morning Meizu launched a new product on its official website – HiFi decoding amplifier with Type-C interface. The amplifier will be powered by the CS43131 chip of Cirrus Logic.

Some time ago, Jack Wong talked about such a gadget, and this is quite understandable, given his maniacal passion for quality sound. In addition, we all know that in 2003 Meizu began operations in this area and in just three years became a top Chinese manufacturer of MP3 players.

The price of the Meizu HiFi Decoding Amp is currently unknown, as it is not yet available for sale.
