Two new models from Meizu's Meilan subbrand on the website of the Chinese regulator TENAA - M2112 and M2111

The first smartphone from the renewed Meilan brand, mblu 10, was announced at the conference on January 12. However, its sale has not started yet and its detailed characteristics are not clear.

So far, it is certain that the budget 4G phone has a 6.52-inch 20:9 LCD display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels. Its dimensions are 164.5*76.6*9.1mm and weighs 204g.

mblu 10 is powered by the 4-core Unisoc T310 mobile platform with 1*A75 2.0GHz + 3*A55 1.8GHz cores. It will be sold in three combinations, respectively RAM and ROM, and its price in China will be: 4/64GB – 699 yuan, 4/128GB – 799 yuan and 6/128GB – 899 yuan. It is also equipped with an expandable memory card slot.

The rear camera of the smartphone is triple 48MP + 2MP + 0.3MP, and the selfie camera is 8MP with support for facial recognition and is located in a waterdrop-shaped slot in the display.

The large 5000mAh battery of mblu 10 is charged with a power of 10W (5V 2A), and the kit will not include a charging adapter.

The phone has an independent headphone port and is the first Meizu phone to date with an infrared blaster, and judging by the basic specifications on the TENAA website – and with an FM radio.

mblu 10 comes with the lightweight company’s interface Flyme 9 lite, based on Android 11. Its color options are black, white and green.

Meilan mblu 10

While we are waiting for the start of sales of mblu 10, two new models of the Meilan brand have appeared on the website of the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology – M2112 (2022-01-16) and M2111 (2022-01-20).

According to the basic characteristics written on the site, the new models do not differ in any way from the already announced mblu 10. There is a visible difference only in the design of the camera module. It is noteworthy, however, that they differ from the first model M2110 in the number of processor cores. The M2112 and M2111 have 4-core processors, while the M2110 has an 8-core processor (at least that’s what the TENAA website says). This suggests that the mblu 10 corresponds to the M2112, not the M2110.

If it turns out that the M2112 is really mblu 10, we can assume that the M2110 may belong to the Meilan Note series, which has also been confirmed to be back.
