Meizu 18X will be presented on September 22 together with Meizu 18s, Meizu 18s Pro and about 30 other products, developed independently or in collaboration with other companies.
This morning, in its Weibo profile the company published the news that Meizu 18X is the first in the mobile phone industry to have an NFT digital image. The avatar of Meizu 18X (AI 「X」) was created and sold on one of the largest NFT platforms in the world – OpenSea.
NFT (Non-Fungible Token) is a digital certificate of authenticity based on the Ethereum blockchain network. If a painting is sold at auction with a document certifying its authenticity, the uniqueness and ownership of the digital works is proved by NFT – the crypto option of the document of authenticity.
When transforming a work into NFT, a new token (marker) is created in the blockchain, which will always be associated with this work. The chain monitors whether it is resold in the future and the author receives a pre-determined commission, and the trade is in the cryptocurrency Ethereum (ETH).
As we already know, Meizu 18X will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 mobile platform and will support fast charging with a power of 30W. These days, Meizu raised the curtain slightly and published a poster from which it became clear that Meizu 18X will have a 2.5D OLED 10-bit display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Unlike 8-bit, which can reproduce more than 16.77 million colors, 10-bit screens can reproduce more than 1.07 billion colors. That is 64 times more color information and the advantages are: images with greater color accuracy, smoother color gradients and finer shadow details, as well as enhanced HDR video.
