It has recently been rumored that Chinese car giant Geely is planning to acquire Meizu, but at the moment the two sides remain silent on the issue.
Last year, Geely entered the intelligent electric car industry for the Chinese market with its new Zeekr brand, the first model being the Zeekr 001. The maximum power of Zeekr 001 is 536 horsepower and the acceleration time from 0-100km/h is 3.8 seconds.
For its part, in March last year Meizu announced that it was developing an operating system Flyme for Car. It is clear that the company does not have the opportunity to enter the market with its own car. Where will the Flyme for Car system be used? Is it in Geely cars, as can be seen from the photo that appeared today on the Chinese Weibo network?
Otherwise, there are only a few days left until Meizu’s 19th birthday (March 14). Traditionally, the Meizu 19 series will be released this year. This will happen no earlier than April, and so far there is no previously leaked data on smartphones from the Meizu 19 series.
