Two years ago, Meizu introduced its first set of external batteries – M8 and M10. Both had a capacity of 10000mAh and a beautiful two-tone design, and the M10 also has support for fast charging. The company then made a special edition of the Yellow Minion Power Bank to mark the release of the film “Despicable Me 3” in China. And at the end of September 2017. it also announced the Meizu M20 Power Bank.
Meizu M20 has the same design with two colors. There is one USB output port, a micro USB input port and 4 LEDs that show the remaining charge. A new addition to the Meizu M20 is the power button, which was not present in the M8 and M10.
Meizu M20 retains the battery capacity of 10000mAh, but now has an improved two-way fast charging mCharge. The output port can deliver up to 24W of power (5-6V / 3A, 6-9V / 2.6A, 9-12V / 2A), corresponding to Qualcomm and MediaTek fast charging protocols, while the input port supports 18W (5-9V / 2A and 9-12V / 1.5A). According to Meizu, you should be able to recharge the bank in 3 and a half hours with an 18W charger.
Meizu M20 is equipped with 11 protections, including protection against electrostatic discharge, input and output overvoltage, protection against short circuit, overload of input and output, temperature anomalies, overcurrent battery and others.
