Three new 5G phones from Meizu have passed the 3C certification – models M182Q, M192Q and M172Q. Judging by the numbering of the models, it is certain that they will be from the Meizu 18 series, as the first two phones will have flagship features, and the M172Q will be a more budget option. It has long been speculated that this year the company will release a smartphone with Snapdragon 870. This will obviously happen.
The M182Q and M192Q models have already been published on the website of the Chinese regulator TENAA, where their main features can be seen. Both phones will be equipped with Snapdragon 888 Plus and Flyme 9 based on Android 11.
M182Q, most likely Meizu 18s, will be the successor to the smaller Meizu 18 smartphone – with a 6.2-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440×3200 pixels, weighing 162 grams and a battery with a capacity of 4000mAh, whose maximum charging power will be 36W. It will be equipped with a triple rear camera 64MP+16MP+8MP and a 20MP front camera. It will be available in 8GB/12GB operating memory configurations and 128GB/256GB storage space. In gray, blue and white colors.
M192Q will be the improved version of Meizu 18 Pro and will probably be Meizu 18s Pro. Again with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440×3200 pixels, weight 189 grams, battery with a capacity of 4500mAh and 40W maximum charging power. The main camera will be quadruple 50MP+32MP+8MP+0.3MP, and the selfie camera will be 44MP. The configurations will again have 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage. The color options will be silver, blue and white.
As for the M172Q model, which has not yet been published on the TENAA website, for now it is only certain that it will be able to charge up to 30W. This phone is expected to be named Meizu 18X or Meizu 18T.
All three new models will be sold without a charging adapter included.
