The conference today featured the new flagship Meizu 16s Pro smartphone and the updated Flyme 8 user interface, as well as some accessories such as Meizu UR personalized headphones, improved Meizu HiFi decoding amp PRO, Meizu EP3C headphones, luxury LIFEME flagship umbrella and youth shirts with Pandaer/Readnap logo (reading and napping, read from back to front).
Meizu 16s Pro is powered by the improved Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus chip with an operating frequency of 2.96 GHz and an Adreno 640 graphics processor. It is equipped with UFS 3.0 flash memory.
The rear camera is triple from Sony – 48MP IMX586 + 20MP IMX350 + 16MP IMX481, with artificial intelligence and 117° super wide angle, triple zoom without loss of quality and 8x digital zoom, 4K video and 4-axis optical stabilization.
Meizu 16s Pro is equipped with a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED display and again has a built-in fingerprint sensor. The battery has a capacity of 3600mAh.
The price of the phone is very good – 6/128GB costs 2699 yuan (about 380 dollars), 8/128GB is 2999 yuan (about 420 dollars) and 8/256GB is priced at 3299 yuan (about 460 dollars). Its sale begins on August 31. It is not yet clear when the global version of the Meizu 16s Pro will be released.
From the new company’s brand, Meizu UR, four models of headphones for audio maniacs were shown – UR4, UR6, UR8 and UR10. The model number corresponds to the number of integrated moving iron plates. The most interesting thing here is that these headphones are made to order, in order to fit perfectly in the ear for maximum comfort. For this purpose, a casting of the ear canal of the specific user is made in advance, after which the headphones themselves are made using this casting. A rich palette of materials and colors is also available.
Meizu EP3C come with a biofiber diaphragm and a wide range of sound field, Hi-Res certificate of sound quality, built-in chip for digital-to-analog conversion, compatible with almost all devices with Type-C interface.
The PRO version of Meizu HiFi Decoding Amp uses the CS43131 DAC decoding chip, along with two professional TI OPA 1622 operational amplifiers, and offers Hi-Res sound quality.
The LIFEME umbrella is made of a fabric that blocks 99% of UV rays and repels water, a handle made of exotic rosewood, specially made ribs without joints for quietness when stretched.
Flyme 8 comes with One Mind 3.5 and the new AICY voice assistant, with about 300 new effects and animations giving real-time feedback. In addition, the grid system now has 4×6 icons. Meizu has promised the Flyme 8 for 27 models, with beta testing for the Chinese versions starting today, and stable updates expected in November and December.
