Today Meizu Technology celebrates its 16th birthday.
The company was founded in 2003, starting with the production of MP3 players, and in three years became the most popular brand for players in the Chinese market. In 2007 Meizu enters the field of smartphones, and in 2012 the Flyme user interface, optimized specifically for Chinese habits, has been officially launched. 2015 marks the beginning of Meizu’s mBack interactive design. In November 2016 with Flyme 6 we saw the first version of the OneMind thought engine based on AI technology.
The celebration of the 16th anniversary of Meizu began at the end of last year with the release of the 16th series, and soon we should see its successors – 16s and 16T.
This month was officially presented a smartphone from the Note series – Meizu Note 9, which was rated by local and foreign media as a phone with “excellent value for money”.
The company has reviewed the main stages of its 16-year activity and said that in the future Meizu will continue to emphasize design and will spare no effort to create innovative and quality products.
