Last week, the company launched a Meizu 19 manager plan, which allows users to submit to the Meizu Community their options for the appearance and configuration of future mobile phones. We have already seen some of the proposals.
One of the controversial points is the trade-off between the capacity and the charging power of the battery and the thickness of the smartphone. To examine the real product needs of the company’s fans, a community survey “Meizu 19 manager: Better battery life vs faster charging” has been launched.
The survey includes three possible answers with a single choice:
1. Large screen and thin option, 5000mAh battery + 65W charging power (42 minutes full charge).
2. Larger battery with 5200mAh capacity + 80W charging power (38 minutes full charge) + 8.5mm thickness.
3. Fast charging experience and relatively heavy, 5000mAh + 100W charging power (full charge in 25 minutes) + higher price.
There are 5 days left until the end of the voting. It is noteworthy that users mark mainly the first two options. They prefer a thinner and lighter phone, with a more affordable price, instead of maximum charging power.
The question remains whether Meizu is just starting to develop the Meizu 19 series or already has ready-made engineering units of all three variants, and is now measuring consumer attitudes.
