Today in the official Weibo profiles of Meizu and Sony (China) it was announced that Sony (China) Co., Ltd. and Zhuhai Meizu Communication Equipment Co., Ltd. have achieved strategic collaboration to provide a better experience for Xperia users in China.
Sony plans to pre-install or allow users to download some of the Flyme applications, such as the App store, Email, Weather and News, adapted for the Xperia 1 III and subsequent new products.
In China Flyme is a leading Android-based customized system, beautiful and easy to use, and with many practical features. Flyme has almost a decade of development and more than 100 million loyal fans, has a deep understanding of the local users’ needs, which will apply to smartphones from the Sony Xperia series.
Xperia 1 III users can experience the content after downloading and installing the system update, which will be pushed this month. During their strategic collaboration, Meizu and Sony will explore the possibility of further adaptation of more Flyme functions.
At the same time, Meizu Flyme will work with more partners to expand in the mobile phone market.
