Today, Xingji Meizu Group (DreamSmart) broadcasted an online press conference where several new things were announced. One of them is that the Group’s first satellite, Lucky Star, was successfully launched today. This should be a communication satellite, mainly providing wide-coverage and highly reliable communication solutions for mobile phones, smart cars and XR technologies.
It has also become clear that Meizu is reorganizing its mobile phone product line. It will consist of three series: Digital series – our well-known company’s flagship series, Note series – phones in the middle price range, but with high performance, and Lucky series – good-looking and practical more budget phones.
The company’s Note series made a comeback in May when the Meizu 21 Note was launched. Meizu 21 Note is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 16GB of RAM, with two versions – 256GB and 512GB storage space, and prices at launch of 2,599 and 2,799 yuan, respectively.
Meizu Lucky 08 will be the first phone in the new Lucky series, whose name is inspired by the first Xingji Meizu Group satellite. Lucky 08 will be presented towards the end of September and will be positioned in the middle price range around 2000 yuan. It will be equipped with a large 6000mAh battery and with Flyme AIOS installed.
Also today, Xingji Meizu’s new AR smart glasses – StarV View – went on sale. They come in two colors, gray and orange, and are priced at 2,499 yuan in China.
