Meizu’s new custom user interface, Flyme 9.2, was unveiled on September 22nd. With it out-of-the-box came Meizu 18s, Meizu 18s Pro and Meizu 18X.
The company promised an upgrade to Flyme 9.2 for both the Meizu 17 and Meizu 18 series. According to the plans, this should happen in October. Surprisingly, nearly a month earlier the stable versions Flyme 9.2.5.0A for Meizu 18 and Flyme 9.2.4.0A for Meizu 18 Pro were released today.
Both models are equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 5G mobile platform and have no official versions designed for the global market. However, they can be used seamlessly by users outside of China, as they have built-in Google services in the operating system and are included in the list of Google Play compatible devices.
