A few days ago, a plan for system updates of some of the latest models was published in the official Flyme forum. Upcoming new versions will have added features, bug fixes and updated security patches.
The first phones to receive updates are: Meizu 16 and 16th (until May 15), Meizu M8 and X8 (until May 31) and Note 8 (until June 15). Plans to update other models will be announced later. A similar timeline for Flyme 7.3 has also been published for the Chinese versions of the phones.
In addition, at the conference for the official presentation of Meizu 16s and some accessories, as well as in the MEIZU Flyme Official Weibo, it was announced that the Super Night scene will be adapted for twenty old models of Meizu phones – 16th, 16th Plus, 16X, X8, 15, 15 Plus, M15, Note 8, PRO 7 Plus, PRO 7 high edition, PRO 7 standard edition, Meilan S6, Meilan 6, PRO 6 Plus, PRO 6, PRO 6s, PRO 5, MX6, Meilan E3, Meilan Note 6, Meilan Note 5, Meilan E, Meilan Max.
Meilan (Blue Charm) is the company’s subbrand for budget phones. For global versions, the letter M is displayed in the model (for example, Meilan Note 6 corresponds to Meizu M6 Note).
Let’s hope that the Super Night Scene will be adapted for the global versions of the listed models.
