Meizu 20 INFINITY Unbounded Edition (Wuyue Edition) boasts a second award this year. After finding a place in Fortune China’s “Shanghai Design 100+” list of best designs for 2023, Meizu 20 INFINITY has now also received the Good Design Award (G-mark) for 2023.

Back to the fundamentals of product design, MEIZU has put forward the design concept “Infinity” and the application of the concept onto a mobile phone for the first time, with the purest design that creates the richest experience.

History and Achievements

MEIZU 20 INFINITY adopts extreme standards to reward users with top technology and crafted details, creating high durability, stability and reliability. The front and back glass covers are extended perfectly to the edge of the frame, creating a suspended edgeless glass effect; the screen adopts a customized 6.79-inch in 2K, 21:9 optimal screen ratio, creating equally narrow black edges with an extreme 91% screen ratio, achieving a boundless viewing experience. The unibody sapphire camera lens is a first in the industry. Titan Glass, an exclusive Meizu microcrystalline glass development, achieves higher clarity on the screen while being more scratch resistant. Flyme 10 launches the immersive FlymeAuto with one-click, enabling the phone to seamlessly link the car scenarios to the phone user.

Jury’s Evaluation

At first glance, the difference from other devices can be clearly felt. It goes without saying that a smartphone’s exterior design extends to the realm of construction methods and detailing, but this product is constructed with a surprisingly high degree of precision, with almost no space between parts. In particular, the glass part of the rear camera is not designed to drop into the main housing opening as in the past, so a clean exterior is created with one less dividing line. Everything from the CMF to the logo is modest and unobtrusive, and other key features are also outstanding. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the most simplified design among current smartphones has been achieved.
