The blind pre-sale of Meizu 21 has started today. Users who reserve the smartphone for 1 yuan will then be able to enjoy 36 months of warranty service and many other gifts.
At this point, it is known for certain that the Meizu 21 comes with a 6.55-inch customized Samsung OLED flat display with four equal bezels that are only 1.74mm wide. Meizu claims that this is the smartphone with the world’s narrowest bottom bezel so far. They made a comparison with the Xiaomi 14 bezel, which is officially stated as 1.71mm, but real phones have deviations and the actual measured width is around 1.8mm.
Another thing known about the Meizu 21 so far is that it is equipped with a 4800mAh battery with 80-watt charging power, and the charging adapter will be included in the package.
It is assumed that the Meizu 21 will be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform, but there is no official confirmation of this information so far.
The date of the Meizu 21’s official presentation is not yet clear, but the warm-up has begun and apparently this time the company’s new smartphone will be released at the beginning of next year. So far, only the Meizu 21 (M461Q) has passed all certifications, but the GSMA IMEI database also includes the M481Q model, which will most likely be the Meizu 21 PRO. Whether the PRO version will be presented together with the standard version or later, we will find out soon.
In addition to the M461Q and M481Q, the GSMA IMEI database also includes the M461H, M461S and M481S models, about which nothing is known. Considering that the H suffix has been used on the global versions of Meizu’s phones so far, there is a good chance that the company will return to the international market. Xingji Meizu Group announced such a plan for the future, and whether this will happen with the Meizu 21 remains to be seen.
