Meizu Mall starts selling iPhones

Today however, Meizu stirred the spirits by posting in their official blog that from tomorrow their store Meizu Mall will sell iPhones that are just as safe as the Meizu 18 series. The reason is that in the field of secure phones, the iPhone is also a rival and a friend, and Meizu Mall sells only secure phones.

In this regard, Meizu’s marketing manager, Wan Zhiqiang, wrote in his Weibo profile:
“This is a tribute to the fundamental rights and interests of the consumer. I recommend only two secure phones in the world of iOS and the world of Android. We’ll see you tomorrow.”

Apple has always paid attention to safety, which coincides with the Meizu 18 series, bringing consumers a safe and clean experience. At first reading, the sale of iPhones at Meizu Mall looks shocking. On the other hand, Meizu and Apple have something in common – both companies implement a boutique strategy and rely on high-end products to achieve profitability.

In the field of mobile phones, it is popular for companies to choose celebrities for their speakers. However, Meizu has chosen another strategy – to let the product speak for itself.

As we already know, the Meizu 18 series is known as “three-zero mobile phones”, i.e. 0 ads, 0 push notifications and 0 pre-installations. This is not only one of its main selling points, but also a differentiated strategy for conquering the high-end market. For a small company like Meizu, this seems like a risky move that inevitably sacrifices significant incomes. Recall that the Meizu 17 series will receive the same clean and safe version of “three zeros” Flyme 9.
