This morning Meizu officially announced its latest TWS earphones – Meizu POP Pro ANC (Active Noise Canceling). These are the company’s first true wireless headphones with active noise reduction.
Meizu POP Pro have a compact body and a comfortable fit in the ear, as well as low latency at the hardware level. They are equipped with a new triple hybrid technology for active noise reduction and feedback control. Meizu’s third-generation noise reduction algorithm allows the Meizu POP Pro to reduce ambient noise by up to 35dB. Intelligent noise reduction and clean and clear calls are made using three microphones. Fine tuning from Meizu Acoustics and a high-quality 10mm composite diaphragm are responsible for good sound with detailed midrange and treble and powerful bass.
When the ANC function is on, the Meizu POP Pro can be used for up to 4 hours on a single battery charge, and up to 6.5 hours without an ANC. In combination with the charging box, the headset can be used for up to 13 hours with the ANC function on and up to 20 hours without the ANC. To save battery power, an infrared sensor is integrated, which serves as a detector and the music is paused automatically when you remove the earphones from your ears.
The control of the Meizu POP Pro is touch-sensitive. Switching the noise cancellation on and off is done by touching and holding the main handset for 2 seconds. You can also play or stop music, answer or reject calls by touching.
Meizu POP Pro have a level of water resistance IPX5. They support Flyme for quick pairing with the phone when opening the storage and charging headphones box (applies to Meizu smartphones with Android 10 and up).
Their sale starts tomorrow, and their price in China is 499 yuan (about 77 dollars).
