The renewed Meizu brand has won the Transform Awards Asia 2023. The company was awarded Gold in the category “Best visual identity from the technology, media and telecommunications sector” and Highly commended in the category “Best brand evolution (business)”.
For a tenth year, the Transform Awards Asia continues to celebrate the transformative power of rebranding and brand development on the continent. This year’s projects reflect the very best work in brand strategy and development, with judges praising the sky-high quality demonstrated at the awards evening in Shanghai.
Let’s remember that at the beginning of July last year, Geely acquired a controlling stake in the shares of Meizu through its subsidiary Hubei Xingji Shidai Technology. In March this year, Zhuhai Meizu Technology and Hubei Xingji Shidai Technology jointly created the Xingji Meizu Group, headquartered in Wuhan. Along with the announcement of the Xingji Meizu Group’s establishment, Meizu’s updated logo was also revealed.
Meizu took a new path and began to expand its ecosystem. Flyme Auto is now on board the Lynk & Co 08 EM-P electric SUV. Flyme Auto is also the basis of the Polestar OS, with which the luxury electric SUV Polestar 4 is equipped. In addition to the Meizu 21 the Xingji Meizu Group’s AR smart glasses will also be presented at the conference on November 30, and today the company announced its new Flyme AR system in advance.
