In September 2017, shortly after the release of Meizu PRO7 and Meizu PRO7 Plus, the company held an Open Day in its laboratory (MEIZU LAB OPENDAY). Then fans were invited to see the laboratory and the devices in it, to see how the research and testing processes go, to disassemble a smartphone and other activities.
As we know, the ISO/IEC 17025 certified MEIZU LAB was established in 2006, is located in the building of the company’s headquarters and covers an area of 2 acres. The laboratory is equipped with equipment from leading Chinese and global companies – Rohde & Schwarz, Keysight Technologies, Hui Yuan Instrument, Zeiss, Whirltone, ETS-Lindgren, Head Acoustics, Keyence Corporation, Rösler, Neware, Gom, WANS and others.
On June 10, Meizu again decided to open the doors of the laboratory to show us how this year’s flagship Meizu 17 5G series is polished. The walk was filmed and broadcasted in real time, this time without the presence of fans. They had the opportunity to ask questions in their comments below the video, some of which the engineers answered.
