MEIZU UR LIVE Special Edition earphones

The company’s new earphones MEIZU UR LIVE Special Edition went on sale on the 19th of this month. Compact, with perfect sound and deep bass, thanks to the two custom subwoofers.

The earphones are the result of processing and upgrading of the hand-made on request MEIZU UR (Ultra Rare) series and the acoustic base of the MEIZU LIVE series. The panels with an irregular carbon translucent texture are sprinkled with scattered gold and silver foil, which makes their appearance very delicate. Their price in China is 1299 yuan (about 194 dollars).

As we know, for the production of MEIZU UR, a casting of the client’s auricle is made, in order to perfectly fit the earphones in the ear. For the special edition of MEIZU UR LIVE, more than 10,000 such samples have been taken into account and the shape has been calculated so that it fits the ears of most people.

In the 100% handmade cavity of MEIZU UR LIVE Special Edition are located four deeply personalized Knowles balanced drivers – two bass, midrange and treble. The earphones also have a dual-channel independent sound structure. Bass and midrange and treble sound through separate tubes for better sound separation and reproduction.

The perfect sound is due not only to the leading acoustic components, but also to the strict tuning based on the Harman curve to ensure more balanced tri-band performance, correct vocal reproduction and instrumental detail, regardless of the genre of music listened to.

Harman’s target curve is known in the industry as a benchmark for headphone sound quality and is the result of many years of research efforts by Harman International Industries (a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, which offers products under several brands such as AKG, Becker, Crown, Harman Kardon, Infinity, JBL, Lexicon, Martin, etc.). The Harman curve is the frequency response or relative balance of the various audio bands, such as bass, midrange and treble, that most listeners prefer.

The cable for Meizu UR LIVE Special Edition is made of oxygen-free silver-plated copper wires, with low resistance and without solders.
